The General Pants Group Retail Operations (Stores) teams are the coalface of our business.  They represent what we do best - igniting fun and creating energy in our stores. They are responsible for upholding our standards of unbeatable customer service and in-store operations.  Our Store teams have presence, a sense of urgency and 100 per cent customer focus.  Combined, our 2 Store teams are also the largest team in our Group with over 1000 people devoted to the cause.

Sales Assistants (Casual and Full Time positions)

Our Sales Assistants are at the very heart of our business and without them we all know we would achieve zip.  They have the important responsibility of living and breathing our unique culture, engaging our customers in the fashion world and being at the forefront of the business to create a unique store experience. Casual Sales Assistant positions also provide flexible working arrangements so you can work around other commitments such as school, uni and other hobbies while still getting a great intro into the world of retail and fashion and cash to boot.

Assistant Manager

Our Assistant Managers act as the primary support person or 2IC to our Store Managers. They work extremely closely with the Store Manager to ensure that the store, team and productivity of our stores are at their absolute best.  Our Assistant Managers are also responsible for leading, communicating and supporting brand and Group wide initiatives with our store teams while they continue to develop their personal skills and knowledge of the retail and fashion industry.

Store Manager

Our Store Managers are the champions who are in store inspiring our teams. As a key leader within the Retail Operations team, our Store Managers are responsible for energising and inspiring their store sales team to live and breathe our unique culture, engaging our customers in the General Pants Co. or Surf world and most importantly, achieving budgeted sales and profitability targets. Our Store Managers are also responsible for selecting and developing their team along with the development and implementation of operational business plans for their stores.
